GIUSEPPE and NEAPOLITAN REPUBLIC
Giuseppe describes Neapolitan Republic as follows : "It's a contemporary reinterpretation of the places and symbols of Neapolitan tradition. It's a new way of thinking about Neapolitanness, open to the dynamism of different cultures, while remaining authentic in its essence."
To talk about Naples, he chose to use one of the five senses: touch. Using lava stone and tuff, he created TAZZI|NA for Neapoltan Republic, in collaboration with Solimene Art , a Vietri ceramist who creates and decorates each piece by hand. Yellow and black, matte and glossy, lava stone and tuff.TAZZI|NA has a simple yet distinctive design, with strong color contrasts. Its truncated cone shape recalls that of its volcano, while its colors—yellow and black—are inspired by the material the city is made of: lava stone and tuff.
The contrast, in addition to being chromatic, is also perceptible to the touch. The yellow cup is glossy while the black one is matte. A unique piece that Giuseppe dedicated exclusively to Neapolitan Republic, you can discover it below.
